[Our Vision]
Here at The Wellgro Co. we have a vision. We want to be a part of reversing the childhood obesity epidemic in our country and raising a generation of healthy active citizens. Did you know 1 out of 3 kids in our Country are now overweight or obese?
In order to make that vision a reality, we need to fund a better system of educating our Country’s youth about food. And when we say food… we’re not talking about the kind that comes packaged in a pretty little box and lives on a shelf. Rather, the kind of food that grows on a tree… or on a vine… or in the ground; the kind of food that Granny and Grandpa used to grow in their garden; the kind of food that local farmers take great care in tending; the kind of food that will nourish young minds and prevent disease; the kind of food that is REAL.
The Wellgro Co. wants to make a REAL impact. We will create and sell goods to advocate good food for America’s youth....a goods for good campaign, so to speak. Through clever design, optimistic messages, and creative energy, we will continue to curate a collection that will constantly evolve.
Most importantly, a substantial portion of profits from the sale of these products will be donated directly to partner organizations who are already working in school systems to deliver fresh local food. The funds that are donated will put REAL food in the bellies of today’s youth and the minds of tomorrow’s leaders!!
